UNICEF
UN agency for children. Water, nutrition, vaccination, child protection and education in emergencies.
Transparency
I am one person. Here is the bank statement. Here is the receipt. Zero cents kept. If that ever stops being true, this page is where you will find out first.
The split
100% of net proceeds from the song — streaming, downloads, physical sales, licensing — is passed on to the charity partners listed below.
“Net” means after the costs that are unavoidable and verifiable: distribution fees taken at source by the platforms, payment processing, and the domain and hosting bill for these two websites. Those costs are itemised in the ledger, to the cent, every month. Nothing else is deducted. No salary, no expenses, no travel, no “admin”.
Where a cost can be avoided, it is: the sites are static files on free-tier hosting, and the artwork and code were donated.
The ledger
Income in, costs out, transfer made, receipt attached. Published within fourteen days of each month’s end. If a row is missing, ask us about it.
| Month | Gross income | Verified costs | Transferred | Recipient | Receipt |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No transfers yet — the song has not been released. The first row appears within fourteen days of the first month of sales. | |||||
Donate
This project does not collect donations. Not one euro passes through our hands that doesn’t have to. Every button below goes straight to the organization’s own official donation page, where you get their receipt and, where applicable, your tax deduction.
UNICEF
UN agency for children. Water, nutrition, vaccination, child protection and education in emergencies.
Save the Children
Emergency response focused specifically on children — shelter, food, child protection and psychosocial care.
PCRF
Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Medical care and surgical missions for injured and sick children.
Médecins Sans Frontières
Doctors Without Borders. Independent emergency medical care, including paediatric and trauma surgery.
Partner status: not yet confirmed. The organizations above are listed as suggested destinations, chosen for their published child-protection work and independent financial reporting. None of them has endorsed this project, and this page does not claim otherwise. Before launch: contact each one, confirm they accept the arrangement, and only then add their logo — using a charity’s logo or name in a way that implies partnership without written permission is both a legal and a credibility risk. Replace this note with the confirmed list.
Choosing where to give is a real decision. If you want to check any organization yourself first, their annual reports and independent charity evaluators are a better guide than anything we could tell you.
Receipts
Bank transfer confirmations and charity acknowledgements, uploaded as they come in, with account numbers and personal data redacted.
The legal position
This is an independent artistic and educational project, not a registered charitable organization. That is precisely why it does not collect donations: money for children should sit in a charity’s account, under a charity’s reporting duties, not in an artist’s.
We cannot issue tax-deductible receipts. The charities can. Donate through their page and they will send you one directly, in your own country where that applies.
Revenue from the song is received by the artist, and transferred onward in full, minus the itemised costs above. That transfer is what the receipts on this page document.
Questions about the money go to transparency@children-of-gaza.org and get a straight answer. Uncomfortable questions especially.
